Welcome to UCP of Middle Tennessee

UCPMT serves Tennessee with programs targeted at our mission to advance the independence and full citizenship of people with disabilities. UCPMT focuses on services to individuals of all ages who have a variety of physical disabilities that primarily affect mobility.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE
FLOOD UPDATE - UCP offices are now open for assistance to families and collection of durable medical equipment during the hours of 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday. We have calls for adult manual wheelchairs, bathing and toilet aids, portable wheelchair ramps, and incontinence supplies (diapers, Depends, etc.) for children and adults of all ages. Financial contributions are also needed to assist families caring for persons with disabilities who were affected by the floods.

Tennessee Family Support Program

The Tennessee Family Support program is one of Tennessee most respected and widely used programs to serve persons with a variety of disabilities across our state. This program is threatened under the current state budget crisis. To learn more, go to: www.tnfamilysupport.org

Tennessee Services for Persons with Developmental Disabilities

other than Mental Retardation

If you or your family member has a developmental disability, but you do not have a concurrent diagnosis of mental retardation, you may be aware that Tennessee does not have a coordinated service system in place to serve you. In 2006, the state Legislature appointed a Task Force to review and address this situation. The results of the study are posted at the Fulfill the Promise website. Click the link on the left to learn more.
